Introduction
As a photographer and videographer, I see my work as my life’s mission. At the age of eight, after watching a fantasy film, a new world opened up to me. I knew that I, too, wanted to tell stories, and I have been on this path ever since. This is my story.
Since the rise of social media, the line between reality and fantasy has become blurred. Because I see so much beauty in reality, I consciously choose a documentary style in my work. I find it beautiful when people can be themselves and enjoy freedom, whether it’s a wedding, an event, or a personal photoshoot. My role is to observe, without judgment or the need to direct people. This approach helps my clients to feel at ease, allowing me to create images that carry deeper meaning.
My vision emphasizes authenticity and highlights how unique and beautiful we all are. With my work, I aim to break stereotypes and focus on the beauty of real life. This message is an essential element in my work.
Inspiration and connection
What inspires me most is working with conscious individuals, entrepreneurs, and organizations that actively contribute to a better society. I notice a growing need for connection—not only with each other but also with nature. Through my photos and videos, I build a bridge between the support being offered and the people seeking help. This way, I expand the reach of information and connection, with the hope of making the world a bit better. My story then becomes also the stories of others.
My expertise
Although there are many photographers and videographers in the Netherlands, each has their unique experience and expertise. Finding my passion at a young age allowed me to stand out by investing significant time in courses, trainings, and personal development.
A valuable step was my job at a yoga website. For five years, I worked focused on photo and video productions and learned a lot about personal growth. Through the yoga classes, meditations, and training sessions, my awareness expanded, and I discovered areas where I wanted to develop further. Ultimately, this combination of technical knowledge and personal awareness forms the foundation of who I am and how my work comes to life.
Way of working
My experience is clearly reflected in my work style. I am skilled at assessing projects and creating a precise schedule. By grouping tasks and planning backwards, I ensure that I always have enough time to complete projects with care. My patience and understanding foster a calm collaboration, allowing clients to feel comfortable and confident.
Each assignment is unique, and I enjoy listening to the client’s wishes. Thanks to my extensive experience, I ask focused questions and provide insights into what is realistic. Empathy, authenticity, and quality are my top priorities. These values are usually shared, creating a balanced partnership where we work as equals.
Growth and development
To stay up to date with new techniques, I invest a lot of time in research and trainings in the fields of photography, videography, and post-production. I also follow training courses annually that enhance my personal development and help me come up with new ideas to apply in my business.
